Biography
Dr. Shea Wheeler earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She also previously attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders while competing nationally as a Division I Track & Field athlete.
Dr. Wheeler is licensed to practice Audiology in South and North Carolina and is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Raised in Lake Lure, North Carolina, Dr. Wheeler gained professional experience in Virginia and Kentucky before returning home to be closer to her family. Her practice philosophy centers around providing patients with a clear understanding of the connection between hearing and brain function, as well as working with patients to foster an environment that promotes improved quality of life and independence.
Dr. Wheeler is accepting patients in the Spartanburg office.
