The CIFLOTEX Study is a clinical trial to evaluate investigational
medication for infants, children and adults with Swimmer’s Ear.
Participants may qualify for this study if they:
• Are 6 months of age or older
• Have been diagnosed with Acute Otitis Externa (AOE), Swimmer’s Ear,
for less than 3 weeks
• Have not received any other treatment for the current episode of

addition, reimbursement for study-related travel may be available.
