Meet Dr. Worley
Biography
Dr. Worley was born in south Florida and grew up near Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Wofford College, graduating at the top of his class with a B.A. in mathematics and a B.S. in chemistry. He then completed his medical training at Wake Forest University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dr. Worley returned to South Carolina to complete his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During his residency, Dr. Worley received multiple teaching and research awards and authored several scientific publications.
Dr. Worley is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has completed additional training in the management of adult and pediatric allergic disease and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. In addition to treating allergic disease, Dr. Worley enjoys managing all adult and pediatric ENT issues including sinus disorders, thyroid/parathyroid diseases, salivary gland issues, ear/otologic diseases, vocal cord/airway disorders, head and neck cancers and sleep disorders. He has completed training in the latest techniques for minimally invasive sinus surgery, in-office treatment of nasal obstruction and salivary endoscopy.
Dr. Worley and his wife met at Wofford College and are excited to be back in the Spartanburg area to raise their family. He enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time outdoors.
