Meet Dr. Worley
Biography
Dr. Worley was born in South Florida and grew up near Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Wofford College, graduating at the top of his class with a B.A. in mathematics and a B.S. in chemistry. He then completed his medical training at Wake Forest University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dr. Worley returned to South Carolina to complete his otolaryngology – head and neck surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During his residency, Dr. Worley received multiple teaching and research awards and authored several scientific publications.
Dr. Worley is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He enjoys managing all adult and pediatric ENT issues including sinus and allergy disorders, thyroid/parathyroid diseases, salivary gland issues, ear/otologic diseases, vocal cord/airway disorders, head and neck cancers and sleep disorders. He has completed training in the latest techniques for minimally invasive sinus surgery, salivary endoscopy and hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation.
Dr. Worley and his wife met at Wofford College and are excited to be back in the Spartanburg area. He enjoys, hiking, traveling and spending time in the outdoors.
