Dr. John A. Foster is a native of Spartanburg, SC. He graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1977. He attended Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Foster did his general surgery training at the University of Florida and completed his otolaryngology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He joined Spartanburg Ear, Nose, and throat in 1991. He is board certified by the American Board of otolaryngology and also serves as Medical Director and Board Member of The Ambulatory Surgery Center of Spartanburg and The Surgery Center of Pelham. He is also the Medical Director and Chairman of the Board for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Spartanburg. While maintaining an interest in general otolaryngology, Dr. Foster has a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology, nasal and paranasal sinus disease, and the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Foster is married to the former Lesley Rebekah Reepe of Forest City, NC. Together they have six children. They attend the First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. Dr. Foster enjoys spending his free time with his family.
