Dr. Virginia Wright has been practicing audiology since 1983 and provides audiological services for both the Greer and Spartanburg locations. She received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2004 from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine-Arizona School of Health Sciences. She received her Master of Science in Audiology from The University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology from Mississippi University for Women.
Dr. Wright is currently licensed by the state of South Carolina. She has extensive experience working in ENT and hospital practices over the years. Active in professional affairs, Dr. Wright is Past President of the South Carolina Academy of Audiology, served on the South Carolina Board of Licensure for Speech Pathology and Audiology, and holds fellow status in the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists. She also served as Centennial President for the Rotary Club of Greater Greer.
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Wright has lived in locations as varied as Philadelphia, PA and the southernmost point in the U.S., Key West. She proudly holds an Honorary Conch and Citizen of the Fabulous Florida Keys Certificate. She and her two cats, Lana and Helen, reside in Greer.
