Dr. Christopher Rucker is originally from Newport News, Virginia. He received his BA in Environmental Sciences and his MD degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He married the former Jeannie McCaskill of Miami, Florida, in 1999. At this time, they moved to Boiling Springs, South Carolina and joined Spartanburg Ear, Nose, and Throat. Dr. Rucker is Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rucker practices the full spectrum of pediatric and adult Otolaryngology.
Dr. and Mrs. Rucker are members of the First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. He is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoys boating in his homebuilt sea kayaks, and reenacts military history of the American Revolution and Civil War.
